What is Freely to You all about? What can it do for me?
Freely to You is about two people, and one relationship. Its about YOU and its about God and its about the relationship between the two of You.
It is not about religion, we aren’t going to talk church to you, or Sunday School, or argue the toss over all the various faiths.
We want instead to help you find out about, understand and ultimately meet with Jesus.
Freely to You does this by making Christian books accessible to everyone who comes to one of our bookcases. Bibles and aids (Gospel tracts, New testament booklets, books about the Bible and hoe to read it and so on) are available for free. If you really need, and you honestly want – then you get to take them for free.
The title of the ministry – Freely to You is taken from a chapter and verse of the Bible itself, from a commission – a command that Jesus Himself gives to His followers -the disciples, it goes like this:
Matthew 10:8
In other words, we are to share for free with everyone what God has given us for free. And God has given Himself, for You, for everyone.
Here on the site you can read about some of the books on offer, and about the Bible too. You can also read a lot about God and what other people think and are going through, even chat about how you feel yourself. But nothing quite beats reading the books yourself, they really are for free, get one, get two, always get a bible if you want too.
If you already are a Christian – you need not feel excluded by all this, we’d love you to join in with the discussion forums and help out the folks who are still waiting to decide. If you have some queries yourself, maybe your faith is unsteady, or you feel challenged. then you can also feel free to join in and express your concerns in the forums, or contact us (including the ministry team) directly and discreetly, you can of course get a book too, many of them are actually very good for Christians to read too!
If you haven’t already seen it, the next page shows the flyer, its worth a read if you haven’t, it explains our central message a little bit more.
